Bean bag hammock.. I really want one of these!!

"It says this hammock is "waterproof" but parachute silk is not waterproof. I see no comments talking about its waterproof-ness, Can you tell me more about what on earth they mean? I read one comment that says the top covers over you when you get in like a pea in a pod. Is this treated with waterproof spray? does it go over the person like a tarp? It clearly says WATERPROOF in the description, but hammocks costing closer to 180$ aren't even waterproof, and require a seprate tarp........ If it does cover over your head does it have a ridge-line to keep the roof of the hammock off your face? ON and on the description doesnt even talk about the waterproof claim"

Gave this hammock to my his and for Fathers Day. Used it once. The parachute material seemed good, but the cords that held the hammock to the stand snapped on both sides. He is not a heavy man and the product is advertised for 2 people. Overstock was great about the return and even offered assistance finding another.

Hennessy Hammock also has very good .

Perfect hammock for screened porch

i love this hammock! it reminds me of the ring slings i carried my babies around in. easy to set up, easy to stuff into its attached sack, very comfy and adjustable.

Product Image. . . .what you see is what you get. Hammock material = 100% 210T Nylon. Actual product box states: lightweight, breathable & quick drying -- no Waterproof claim listed. So, very doubtful hammock was treated w/ any waterproofing agent !
