In this video Jim shows you how to set up your ENO hammock and straps. He also shows you the difference between the Atlas straps and Pro straps. Use code "yt20" to get 20% off any hammock:
The Eno Hammock Atlas Straps System is the simply the best hammock hanging strap system out there. And that is because they are made of polyester and do not stretch. Oh wait! They have more places to hook a hammock than anyone else (15ea =30ea for the set). And they are longer than most other hammock system straps (9′). Together they support up to 400 lbs. And set up is easy, just slide one end through the loop on the other end, hook the hammock to it and you are done. And you didn’t even have to tie a knot. So if you need to hang a hammock, this is it! It does not get any easier. Promise.
The is ultra-sturdy, with a combined support weight of 400 pounds (according to ENO) despite a light weight of 11 ounces for the pair. The straps don’t stretch under weight, and my Atlas straps, after a good number of uses, have remained fray-free. Finishing out the suspension system, ENO hammocks are strung with nautical-strength rope and forged carabiners that clip quickly into the Atlas straps.
