I am planning on installing it into single vertical studs near the wall corners at opposite/diagonal sides of a room. I like this mount because it is pretty discreet as far as they go. I weigh ~160lb, should I be fine with this setup?? I have 2" rings in the bedroom and ENO Indoor Hammock Hanging kit in the living room, I have slept on the eno for 5mo till my daughters family moved back in, I still get a nap in now and again. Mounting to lath and plaster find the stud then use a very small drill bit to find the edges of the stud, center the 5/16 drill bit and drill, with plaster you might want to use the small bit to outline the 5/16 hols to prevent breakout. See my file for photos, Have fun it is a blast hanging inside.
